OK, so we have a laptop with a really slick ExpressCard slot.. but for the life of me, I can't find a port replicator that will work with it.
I've seen the BookEndz docks, and they look reasonably nice, although a bit pricey, but what I'd really like is something that i can do a 'one plug' connect and disconnect with.
Surely, this must exist, since that's one of the huge advantages of the new PCI standard. I'm sure that Apple even makes one, but I simply cannot find it anywhere.
Belkin makes one, called their High Speed Dock
http://www.belkin.com/highspeeddock/
But I don't think it's Mac compatible.
Am I just an idiot, or does this not exist for the Mac?
Thanks all!

Plug your MacBook in and out of a multi-port docking station to swiftly add devices and external displays to your laptop. We tested a bunch to find the best Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C docks available. Lets you connect your laptop to a display with a VGA port via a USB-C port. Part Number: PA5270U-1PRP.

Apple Port Replicator

Obviously the AIR is a big compromise of ports for heavy users. I think I will eventually invest in the BELKIN CABLEFREE USB HUB.
http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=356042
However, for travel purposes, whenever I actually need to maybe use ethernet in a hotel, and still need a USB Port, I am curious id there are any USB HUBS with, for example, a built in card reader for a camera card slot (I need SD), or perhaps built in ethernet as well.
This is one example: http://cgi.ebay.com/USB-Mobile-Port-Replicator-w-Ethernet-PA090U-Targus_W0QQitemZ300247788468QQihZ020QQcategoryZ3709QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem but it seems to be heavy on OLD TECHNOLOGY (Serial, P/S2, SERIAL !! ) Although it does have an ethernet port !
For my HOME USE, the belkin unit might be the answer ?
I am thinking this would be a great solution when I need to use the house printer, or the backup hard drive. I already have a verbatim 160 GB External Hard drive, and a non bluetooth / non wifi multi-function printer, and the DVD Super Drive. Okay, so that's three ports, one left open for my SD Card adaptor !
OR, (I KNOW, I KNOW . )
should I just sell everything I have and start over with the TIME CAPSULE ?! http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB276LL/A?fnode=home/shop_mac/mac_accessories/airport_wireless&mco=MzMyMzQy
I think that will answer most of my IN HOUSE concerns except the MULTI USB PORT thing. There is one port on the TIME CAPSULE, and that seems to only work with the PRINTER. It would be great if it would work with other external optical drives, and usb thumb drives, etc.
Has anyone tried to see if that usb port will accept a usb hub ?!
Right now, I don't have a CABLE or DSL Connection in my house, I just have a Verizon Broadband USB Card. So, I am likely to get one of those nifty USB BROADBAND ROUTERS such as this one: http://www.cradlepoint.com/ctr500/ctr500.php or this one http://www.cradlepoint.com/mbr1000/mbr1000.php
Thanks to all who repsond, sorry for the term paper length question !!
